Man this is a good question, why do we let the day take us down? luckily my goals and priorities were aligned with my closest partner this weekend and we worked together smashing goals like mad people and it's been awesome.. i'm not sure what can possibly feel better than bloody well smashing some goals on days like today man..
have that check list,, we use a whiteboard here, so it's been great to have right here in the production area where we get down and get shit done.. and we can look at it every morning and see / remind ourselves what we need to do get done today.. or any day for that matter, sure stuff jumps in your face and bumps the priorities.. but having that white board high priorities list really has helped us a LOT!
