Starting a business or startup at 49. Should I take the risk?

Starting a business at 40 takes guts. Taking a risk in business at any age is a mental challenge that can only be dealt with head on. When starting a business we need to mitigate risk and play our cards right. Starting a new business should be fun and not a scary moment.

I run through what risk really means for someone at 49 who has a solid opportunity to leave his job and start a new business or startup. How to handle and mitigate risk. Critical thought process for anyone looking to make the switch!
