My Parents Want Me to Work a 9 to 5. I want to start a business

My parents want me to work a 9 to 5. Often the case with anyone. Also something that comes up, I want to start a business. What should I do? Parents always want us to take the safe route. The safe route is based on their experiences. Their expectations should not be our expectations. However, guilt trips do a marvelous thing.
